Last month Bord Bia’s Director of Marketing Services Una FitzGibbon addressed delegates at the Good Food Ireland Conference on the benefits for small Irish food producers being part Origin Green. Recognising that owners/managers of small businesses can’t afford to spend time, money, and effort on projects without seeing tangible results, Una set out to illustrate the benefits of Origin Green. Some of the small business companies actively participating on the Origin Green programme including Stonewell Cider, The Apple Farm, Keogh’s, Cooleeney Farmhouse Cheese, and Goatsbridge Trout Farm shared their experience so far with Origin Green and how they are beginning to reap the rewards.
