An artisan family-run establishment, the Burren Smokehouse was founded 28 years ago. Using 100% Irish raw material, it supplies to speciality food shops, Duty Free, and private chefs/high-end foodservice businesses. It also provides online mail order food gifts worldwide, and B2C at its visitor centre.

The company has grown its volumes and kept quality standards in its production, while maintaining an excellent level of customer service. French and German speakers are available in-house to help serve the European customer base. The website is also multilingual.

Since 2016, the Burren Smokehouse visitor centre has attracted 45,000 national and international customers, who are invited to learn how the fish is smoked and the traditions of smoking.

Its renowned salmon is 100% organic, carefully sourced from the pristine waters of Ireland’s west coast.
