Rosie’s Bakehouse Ltd was incorporated in July 2013, commenced trading in January 2014 and opened its office in August 2014.

The company has its roots in Broadway Bagels, which started as a small bagel cafe in 2001 in Dungarvan, Co. Waterford and expanded to become Ireland’s first manufacturer of authentic New York-style bagels.

The founder of Broadway Bagels, Rosie Sheehan, is an active partner in Rosie’s Bakehouse Limited. The company is focused on providing the highest quality American-style baked goods for foodservice and retail customers in Ireland, the UK and Europe.

Raw Material Sourcing

  • Raw material supplier certification from 2014 baseline. 80% compliance by 2020.
  • 100% of BRC graded suppliers to be Grade A by 2020.

Unique Selling Points

The production process for bagels, the signature products in the range, is unique to Rosie’s Bakehouse. The bagels are handmade and dipped individually in seeds to ensure proper coverage.

The bagels contain no additives or preservatives and are steamed, so are lighter than those of competitors.

The diner buns are hand finished, as are the brioche buns and hot dog buns, and Rosie’s works directly with customers on NPD to specified requirements.
