Origin Green Academy Launch Event
On May 9th, Bord Bia in partnership with Lean & Green Skillnet will launch the Origin Green Academy. The Origin Green Academy will support Irish food, drink, and horticulture businesses to develop industry leading sustainability talent and the emissions reduction skills required to achieve ambitious emissions reductions across the sector, accelerate their sustainability progress, and meet the expectations of global consumers and legislative requirements such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive.
A key component of the Origin Green Academy is the launch of sustainability specific training programmes ‘Pathway Programmes’. The first course to be offered by the Origin Green Academy is Pathways to Net Zero; a training, mentoring and support programme that will prepare Origin Green member companies to meet commercial emission reduction requirements and comply with the new Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive Climate Change disclosures which will commence in 2024.
Please tune into the Origin Green Academy launch event, to learn more about the suite of sustainability training supports that will now be exclusively available to Origin Green members.
