About the company

Upon returning from a backpacking trip, Audrey Gargan was inspired to open a sushi shop as she felt there was a gap in the market in for fresh and affordable sushi in Ireland. Sushi King first started producing sushi from its' shop situated at Baggot Street Dunlin 2 in 2006. From there Audrey moved production in a commercial kitchen and was then able to offer sushi to more customers.

Sushi King is currently listed with a number of premium retailers, catering companies and large food service companies.

Achieving an Origin Green Certification has enabled Sushi King to progress along a path towards improved sustainability and sourcing within the business.
