About the company
Established in 2016 by brothers Jonathan and Patrick O'Donnell, West Coast Crab Sales Ltd is an Irish shellfish supplier specialising in Brown Crab and European Lobster to both domestic and international markets. Over the past 25 years their export markets have included Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe. In recent years exports have grown to include Asian countries.

Committed to Responsible Sourcing:
West Coast Crab Sales Ltd are a part of the Irish Brown Crab Fishery Improvement Project, this project addresses issues around stock sustainability on an industry wide basis. They also have targets in place to upkeep their BIM Responsibly Soucred Seafood Standard for their vessels.
Reducing their Environmental Impact:
Targets are in place to reduce the waste that they produce. West Coast Crab Sales are a part of BIM Compactor Trial at Ballyglass Pier all cardboard waste will be collected every six weeks. Since this trial began in September 2018, 142 bales of cardboard have been collected and recycled, each weighing aproximately 35kg.
