Poachers was founded by two friends in 2016 with the express purpose of creating a range of premium lower sugar drinks to serve the high end spirits market both domestically and internationally. We wanted to offer customers a uniquely Irish and lower sugar solution for mixing with premium international spirits. In its first full year Poachers sold over 250,000 bottles and one accoloades at internationally renowned events such as the International Paris bar show and Ballymaloe Lit fest.
Poachers have set a target of increasing the use of organically produced and ethically sourced quinine in product lines to over 50% by 2022.
Poachers have committed to reducing levels of natural Irish sugar in all Poachers product lines by 33% by 2019 using natural substitutes.
Poachers aim to source 50% of apples used in their product line to be supplied from their own farm by 2019.
