Camile Thai Kitchen is a multi-award winning healthy Thai restaurant delivery service operating in Ireland and the UK. They started operating in Dublin in 2010 and have since expanded to 19 restaurants part company owned and part franchised. Camile Thai Kitchen makes made to order food in restaurants with quality fresh ingredients delivered directly.
It also supplies a range on own made products including sauces and starters from its Dublin hub to all franchises and company owned restaurants. This structure allows the company to fulfil its commitment to deliver healthy, restaurant quality Thai food directly to customers homes.
In 2017 Camile reduced the amount of sugar they use by 1000kg and are aiming to reduce by 2250kg more by the end of 2020. All Camile recipes are fully calorie counted and analysed for allergens by Nutritionist Niamh O’Connor RD MINDI. Camile has carried out lab testing with ENVA laboratories and certified 29 dishes as ‘Gluten Free’. The Camile menu is almost entirely dairy free. Camile offer brown and wild rice as a healthier standard option in place of steamed white rice.
All Beef and Pork on the Camile menu is sourced in the Republic of Ireland through EIQA supplier Robinsons meat. All meat purchased by Camile outside the Republic of Ireland is from EEC mark approved sources. The fresh Salmon on the menu is farmed Atlantic and supplier Kish Fish is SFPA and EQA approved and certified. All other ingredients are purchased with Musgrave which is a verified Origin Green member.
Since the Irish hub was opened in 2016 Camile have operated with zero landfill waste achieved through a disciplined recycling procedure. Energy is sourced from renewable energy sources. Camile has an auto cut off system for water on their wok cookers to reduced water use. Waste oil is reused by supplier Pure Oil.
Camile supports local communities through sponsorship agreements with Suttonians Rugby Club, Leinster Cricket Club, Bohemians FC, Na Fianna GAA, Castleknock GAA, Monaleen GAA and Ulster Rugby Club. Camile also provides monthly free cookery demos in our restaurants as well as others on sites such as DCU, TCD and Terenure College. All Camile staff get a healthy meal for free every day
