Having originated in Kinsale in 2008 selling various gluten-free products at local town markets, Kinsale Bay Food Company now provides its gluten-free range of soups, pates, chowders and ready meals to Supervalu, Centra, Dunnes Stores, Tesco and artisan stores nationwide.
Using the freshest locally sourced ingredients the Cork food company is committed to producing wholesome, nourishing gluten-free products to the highest quality and taste standards, in its gluten-free facility situated in Little Island.
All products are hand prepared in its gluten-free kitchens by a talented team of cooks. Its white fish and smoked whitefish are caught in the fresh clear Atlantic Ocean, while the hot smoked salmon which is used in its gold medal-winning award pates is smoked in Cahirsiveen, Co. Kerry.
100% of Kinsale Bays fish and dairy suppliers have sustainability policies in place, and Kinsale Bay will maintain this throughout the course of their plan. The company will also increase the number of suppliers who are Origin Green verified throughout the course of their plan.
Kinsale Bay supports local initiatives such as Bia Food Cloud, tastings at local events, sponsorship and donations to small needy charities throughout Ireland, including Dog Trusts and Animal Shelters nationwide.
